And my book is out! Book two of the One Good series, One Good Year, is Ace and Spade's second story, and is available now at http://www.loose-id.com/One-Good-Year.aspx.
Blurb:
Ten months ago, Spade was won in yet another high-stakes poker game. But Ace Donovan was different from his previous masters--kind, generous, possessed of a playfulness that only Spade could see. His new master was also broken, slowly crumbling under the pressures of undeserved guilt and pain. As Senai--a genetically engineered servant--Spade had the ability to sweep the anguish from his soul, to fulfill his every desire, and to set Ace's spirit free.
He had not known doing these things would grant him the human's love, or create an answering emotion within him.
There is no greater pleasure than Ace in his arms, and Spade will hold on for as long as he is wanted. Even when the orders given to him hurt, even when they make him lonely, even when it becomes clear that his master no longer needs a servant. He's Senai. What he has now should be enough. Yet it's not. He wants more.
One good hand brought them together. Could one good year entwine their souls?
I hope you enjoy my very first sequel!

Love the cover art, though that's not exactly why I just bought the book. I've been in love with your writing since Want Me and have been snapping up all your books ever since. Thanks in advance for a sleepless night reading One Good Year!
@Anon - lol. You're welcome?
Be sure to get some rest and let me know what you think of the new story. :)
Okay, finished reading and the it was a great continuation of the series! I always felt things were left a little unresolved in One Good Hand, so I'm glad you returned to the story in One Good Year. I also liked getting Spade's perspective since it was a bit ambiguous in the first book just how much free will he had. The only problem is now I need more of your writing. Next book, please! Just kidding. Kind of. Really though, I would love an update to The Jascian's Toy or Michael Finally Grows Up, but I promise to wait patiently. I know the wait will be worth it!
@Anon - I loved getting write a second HEA for those two. :)
And it was interesting to write from Spade's POV. He has a very different voice from Ace, yet it still felt like the same world to me. Much fun.
Gah! Rowan! Best. Sequel. Ever. I loved it. It was great to see things through Spade's eyes and it was a wonderful complement to One Good Hand.
Ahem. What's next!
A Fangirl Forever
@Jaya Christopher - Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Ahhh, I'm not sure. I'm currently in a post-book haze at the moment. XD
Love your covers. Thanks so much for signing up for the Hop Against Homophobia :) We're excited to have you.
@Erica Pike - Thank you. Excited to participate. :)
